According to this Tribune article, doctors aren’t sure yet whether this guy has swine flu. His name is Ke Ruan. Another student named Melanie Cornell has been diagnosed with the flu, but her picture isn’t illustrating the article. Maybe she’s really ugly. Maybe it’s the Chicago angle. Maybe it’s just that the photographer could only grab this guy.
Whatever.

Ironically, I think both the reporter and the photographer are brown folks. Dahleen Glanton is African American, I believe.
