Because of course you need to know what I ate.  Up top on the left is just a regular old Fuji apple.  The bottom is a 蓮霧 (wax apple), and to the right is the star fruit.  This is the first time I’ve ever eaten the wax apple.

  1. Ooh! Wax apples! If you’re where I think you are, try the oranges too. They’re amazing. Like a cross between a tangerine and an orange, but with more orangey flavor than a tangelo. Also, if you haven’t had it already, the gi dan gao and dou hua (with sweet syrup and mini boba) are definitely worth a try. Should be able to get both at a night market.
