I would love to move out of the US if the republicans win the election in 2012. Problem is, nobody would want me. :(
Just saw Cowboys and Aliens, all sorts of problems with that film with regards to how it treats Native Americans (Harrison Ford’s adopted Indian son dies, causing him to realise that Indians are people too and we are meant to like him from that point forward).
The “alleged” part of the title (were this a story about a Muslim mat attacking someone, “TERRORIST PLOT” would be emblazoned in big, bold letters).
The insistence that the killers are “teens”. 19 and 18, in the eyes of the law, are adults. But never once are they referred to as such. Put a 17 year old boy in the killing of a middle aged white dude, and try to count on at least one hand when they call him a teen/kid/boy.
Trying to explain to a teenager I did not give birth to that even if he was not the only one doing something, he is still contributing to the problem is like trying to talk to a brick wall.
There were a couple of other incidents on the bus that I probably will write about in the future. Ah, don’t you just love public transport.
Apparently Gary has never been to the Netherlands.
