Keep saying it like it’s true

Even despite evidence to the contrary.

What Miley Cyrus did isn’t racist. We are an organization that prides ourself on diversity and tolerance. This is a workplace that values diversity. And here’s Florida’s state party chair on another GOP official:

We know Carol to be a person of integrity without any prejudice, and to characterize her otherwise is slander.

Without any prejudice. Got that? And what did Carol Carter write in an e-mail to other members of the party that prompted this expression about her lack of prejudice?

Amazing. I’m confused. How can 2,000,000 blacks get into Washington, DC in 1 day in sub zero temps when 200,000 couldn’t get out of New Orleans in 85 degree temps with four days notice?

Quack.

Edited to add: Here’s Carter’s “apology“:

Carter followed up with an apology e-mail to the county’s Republican Executive Committee board saying she had sent the e-mail only to eight people and was “sorry that it was received in a negative manner. I do hope that we are going to be allowed to keep our sense of humor.”

  1. Oh, I see you’ve added her subsequent non-apology. I’m sorry it was received in a negative manner? What IS that? Who can take to mean she’s “issued an apology”?
