We already got one

The white dude is complaining, “This PC nonsense is out of control! They need to get back to the kinds of strips everybody can relate to!”

Black guy responds, “‘Everybody’ meaning you?”

This Washington Post article notes that this strip is part of a protest by cartoonists of color. Lalo Alcaraz refers to it as the “one-minority rule.” We already got one, so why should we get another?

  1. What I think the political correctness debate is really about is the power to be able to define. The definers want the power to name. And the defined are now taking that power away from them.
