Does anybody have any idea what these might be?
One side has a rounded cup base, and the other side has a point sticking out.

It came in a box labeled “VIT-RA-TOX” (A VITAMIN supplement!), so I assume it came from my crazy great-aunt. The box looks like it’s at least 50 years old.
So why are they different sizes?

It seems I once saw something like that and it had something to do with a radio … I don’t really think they’re candle holders, because the cupped side doesn’t look as though it’s big or strong enough to hold candles of that size.
Does this lame answer prove my mental deficiency?

The cupped side isn’t for the candle. They’re for pillar candles – you put them on the spiked side.
And we who suffer from these sorts of processing lapses prefer to be called brain flatulent, thank you very much.
