Los Angeles Police Department officials announced Tuesday that they investigated more than 300 complaints of racial profiling against officers last year and found that none had merit — a conclusion that left members of the department’s oversight commission incredulous.
In addition, 850 complaints over the past 4 years were investigated and similarly found to lack merit.

Interesting. There was a community task force in our city to investigate racial profiling by our (almost exclusively white) police force. It was a several months-long process which just ended recently. The task force (shockingly) found that the community was misinformed, that the incidents were all false, and that the community was being fearful and mistrustful, often to their own detriment.
*sigh*
