More cowbell writes about Kellyanne Conway’s comment about Barack going to the back of the bus here.
I guess going to the back of the bus is better than lynching. But goodness, this election has certainly brought a lot of racist imagery to the forefront.

Kathy
Not to condone Conway’s comment, but am I crazy or has Clinton used every racist code word possible to discredit Obama? From her
“spade work” comment to her denounce and reject Farrakhan, her belittling of Obama’s work as a community organizer, her “as far as I know” about Obama’s Muslim religion, the list could go on and on.
What about her fake blaccent, her claim about always having to clean up after others, her Mathatma Ghandi joke?
For her to offer Obama the VP when she’s behind might not be blatent racism, but it sure does smell like racist crap.

Thanks for the nod.
While I don’t believe that comment came from the Clinton campaign, I do agree with much of Kathy’s observations, above. Clinton is savvy, and knew exactly what she was doing with that “I take him at his word” he’s a Christian, “as far as I know.” Please.
Also, for me, his community organizing experience is one of the biggest plusses on his his side. I’m very excited about that, I’d love to have someone in office with that on their resume.
